I'm excited to announce the following dates and I'm hoping it's not too short notice to get as many of you as possible involved this week!
All interested riders from grades 6 - 12 AND their parents are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in the following pre-season activities for the Myers Park Thoroughbreds NICA team. Please do not hesitate to give me a call if you have any questions or concerns and PLEASE share this email with anyone who may be interested.
Students must attend one of the following schools to be eligible: Myers Park HS, or Carmel, Randolph, Alexander Graham, or Sedgefeild MS

Sunday, 10/27 @ 1 - 3pm Skills Refresher - Followed by Social/Group Ride @ BYT, PRP, Marion Deihl (depending on skill levels of riders who attend) /

Saturday 11/16 1 - 3pm Bike Games to play with Your Friends - Followed by Social/Group Ride -Meet at Little Sugar Creek Greenway Parking Lot on Tyvola, across from Queens University Sports Complex
Saturday 11/23 1 - 3pm Trailside Repairs and Maintenance with Mikey from The Bike Gallery - Followed by Social/Group Ride -Meet at Little Sugar Creek Greenway Parking Lot on Tyvola, across from Queens University Sports Complex
Saturday, 12/7 1-4pm BYT Ride & Seek Adventure Race (find the spot on the map, answer the question or complete the challenge, then move on to the next. Riders can complete the challenges in any order they wish but must always travel in the correct direction on trails. ALL established shortcuts and cross-overs are fair game) -ALL Charlotte-area teams are welcome to participate. A final idea is to assign team made of mixed ability/skill/age/NICA team to make this a way young riders meet other teams, even the playing feild by requiring al teams to work together / stay together / etc...
Saturday, 12/14 Regular Practice Begins and continues every Saturday (MS 10 - Noon / HS 1 - 3)
